On July 25th, we celebrated National Dance Day at The Music Center, in downtown Los Angeles. National Dance Day is an annual celebration that takes place on the last Saturday in July. The Music Center and Dizzy Feet Foundation joined forces once again to get people up and dancing.
In the morning there were dance routines for the attendees participation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bg2XVBzSolE and later there were performances by local & international dance groups.
One of the local companies had the attendees help them choreograph a routine right on the spot and then invited the crowd to dance along with them as they performed it. The crowd was filled with dance lovers of all ages and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun with that.
NDD encourages Americans to embrace dance as a fun and positive way to maintain good health and fight obesity. At this celebration The Music Center and Dizzy Feet Foundation achieved just that.
Until next time, KEEP DANCING!
